A series of nine auspicious celebration menus are set to usher in a prosperous Chinese New Year. To mark this year's zodiac, “ox”-themed dishes such as Traditional Stewed Beef in Casserole (意气风发 $50); and Stir-fried Diced Tenderloin of Beef with Black Pepper and Asparagus (金牛贺岁, $46) have been specially created for the occasion.

New this year are three 5-course sets, which come elegantly presented in a red tiffin carrier and can be unstacked with ease directly at the dining table. Marking the third year of Summer Palace’s one-Michelin star accolade, this five course celebratory menu is themed around the highlights of Chinese Executive Chef, Liu Ching Hai’s career. Three in Cantonese translates to saang, which sounds similar to 生 or life. Inspirations behind each dish were drawn from iconic moments, such as when he first learned the intricacies of stir-frying, right down to his early dates of fatherhood when he attempted to wean two fledgling gourmets. For a hassle-free takeaway experience, simply submit your order and payment online, select your desired pick-up date and time, and show up for your pick-up. Trained under Master Chinese Chefs Fok Wing Tin and Peter Tsang, Chef Liu's repertoire of delectable Cantonese cuisine has been savoured by international dignitaries, diplomats, Hollywood and Hong Kong celebrities; leading him to be recognised for the “Best Culinary Skills Award’’ in a competition hosted by the Hong Kong Tourism Association.
