Basilico

Basilico entices with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal and authentic Italian cuisine. Enjoy a dazzling array of signature dishes and sumptuous spreads of antipasti, mains and desserts. Enlivening the dining experience is the theatre of activity surrounding a rotisserie, espresso bar and walk-in wine cellar, and an al fresco dining area on the terrace overlooking the pool.

During this period of phased openings, table service buffets will replace self-service buffets at Basilico, where antipasti, cheese and desserts will be served to the table at the point of preparation by our chefs. A curated selection of our menu is also available for island-wide delivery and takeaway.

TUSCANY'S GREATEST TREASURES

Thursday, 28 Jan | 6.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.

The capital of Tuscany and birthplace of Renaissance masterpieces, Florence is a sight to behold. Its cuisine comes second only to its architecture, but holds its own with delights distinctive of the region. At Basilico's first wine dinner of the year, look forward to the freshest seafood stewed with San Marzano Tomato Sauce and Riviera Olives followed by handmade gnocchi and the pièce de résistance of Tuscan fare: a Fiorentina Black Angus T-Bone Steak with Cannellini Bean Puree and Brown Butter. The five-course dinner is paired with the finest wines and Chianti, then finishes in true Tuscan style with a nightcap of Vin Santo.

AN ITALIAN-INSPIRED LUNAR NEW YEAR

A novel addition this year, Basilico will debut an alternative but no less auspicious Italian-inspired Lunar New Year menu. Toss an alternative but no less auspicious Italian yu sheng and pave the way for a 5-course menu that features Marinated Cherry Tomatoes with 24K Gold and Toasted Sesame; Herb-crusted Tiger Prawns with Sweet and Sour Pickled Vegetables; 32 Yolk Ravioli stuffed with marinated Pork, Crab and Chives; Black Pepper-crusted Japanese Wagyu Beef Sirloin; and Panna Cotta with Chrysanthemum Tea Gel and Lavender Pearls.

EAST-MEETS-WEST YU SHENG

Alongside the vibrant pickled vegetables of this customary ritual, Basilico has added a host of luxe ingredients such as Apple Wood Smoked Salmon, Amalfi Lemon-poached Baby Scallops, Norcia Black Truffles, Avruga Caviar and Pickled Porcini Mushrooms. Chives and asparagus signify the onset of spring and the celebration of all that is new.

Trust our passionate Italian chefs to preside over a romantic dinner like no other. Before your lady gets seated, she will be welcomed by a long-stemmed rose, a sweet Italian note and a bellini cocktail to usher in a toast of everlasting love. Then, sit back as the food sweeps you off your feet. Think Champagne-poached oysters, velvety risotto, and your choice of seared Black Angus Sirloin or Lobster. A Peach Melba caps the evening with Muscat-poached peaches, Lemon Verbena and Madagascan Vanilla. A single seating for the evening ensures a leisurely dinner at your own pace.

Famed for its lavish weekend gourmet affairs, Basilico continues to wow with abundant spreads and enthralling live stations. Chefs will make their way from table to table to offer up piping hot servings of Fresh Black Truffle Risotto with Porcini Mushrooms on Parmesan Wheels, while demonstrating a little theatrical flair. They'll also continue to helm an impressive cheese counter of over 30 Italian farmed cheeses.

ISLAND-WIDE DELIVERY AND TAKEAWAY

It's the next best thing short of taking our Italian chefs home. Basilico's extensive menu is now available for island-wide delivery and takeaway. Restaurant signatures such as pizzas, oven-baked foccacia with black summer truffles and robiola cheese, and pastas⁠—orechiatte, raviolacci, lagsana and tagliatelle—can all be taken home. Free delivery for orders above $100. Minimum delivery order of $30 applies.  

For a hassle-free takeaway experience, simply submit your order and payment online, select your desired pick-up date and time, and show up for your pick-up. Orders should be placed at least 45 minutes ahead of pick-up. Guests arriving for pick-up will be eligible for 15 minutes free parking at Regent Singapore's main entrance. Takeaway collection point is located in the hotel lobby. No minimum order for takeaways.

Meet Our Chef

Luca Beccalli

Born and raised in a small village in northern Italy, Chef Luca Beccalli brings to his cooking a passion for authenticity and the curiosity to explore, which stems from his love for travelling and discovering new cultures.

In a culinary career that began at the age of 15, Chef Luca honed his skills at various fine dining and casual restaurants across Europe and North America, before making his first foray into Asia as Head Chef of our award-winning flagship Italian restaurant, Basilico. Remaining true to his roots, his stunning creations retain the traditional essence of a dish, home-style cooking delivered with modern flair, and are a vibrant reflection of his personality – young, colourful and Italian!
