Wee-Ann Lim joined Regent Hotels in September 2010 as Vice President of Finance.
He graduated from University of Auckland in 1986 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, after which he became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, New Zealand.
Wee-Ann’s experience of the hospitality industry spans over 21 years and includes the post of hotel controller for the Southern Pacific Hotel Corporation covering Wellington, Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney.
After 10 years of hotel-based positions, he joined P&O Australian Resorts corporate office in Sydney as the Finance & Administration Manager, working with P&O’s exclusive portfolio including the Lizard Island Resort and Bedarra Island Resort.
After the sale of P&O Australian Resorts to Voyages in July 2004, he undertook freelance assignments with Accor (Auckland) and Carlson Hotels (Sydney). He spent more than five years as Director of Hotel Finance for Asia Pacific Region in Carlson’s corporate offices in Sydney and Singapore, where he oversaw the annual business plan process, hotel finance standard operating procedure, internal audits, hotel openings and the recruitment of controllers.
