Peter Finamore brings more than 30 years of global luxury hospitality and upscale mixed-use real estate experience to Regent. His many successes include the planning, overseeing and opening of luxury hotels and up-market mixed use retail and business complexes for major hotel brands such as The Peninsula in Asia and USA, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts in the Middle East and Boyd Gaming Corporation in the USA. As Senior Vice President of Operations, he is responsible for leading the operational and financial performance of all Regent Hotels globally.
Prior to joining Regent, Peter was Managing Director at Rosewood Hotels & Resorts in Saudi Arabia where he was responsible for the operation of three hotels, fourteen restaurants and mixed-use commercial and retail facilities. While at Rosewood, he spearheaded the conversion of the city’s leading residential apartment building into a new all-suite wing of the renovated Al Faisaliah Hotel, making it the largest luxury hotel in Riyadh. Under his leadership, The Al Faisaliah Hotel received numerous tourism awards.
Prior to this, Peter spent several years with Boyd Gaming Operations as Senior Vice President, Operations. There he was a key member of the Development Team where he was involved in the planning of a multi-billion dollar gaming property. Peter’s 14 year tenure with Peninsula Hotels included 6 years as general manager of The Peninsula Beijing plus opening of The Peninsula Chicago.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Management from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.
