Sustainability - a standard for us
The independent inspection service TÜV Rheinland certified the environmental management system of Regent Berlin on 21 January 2009. The aim of the certification under the internationally recognised standard ISO 14001 is the systematic reduction of risks to the environment and the improvement of environmental services. With the independent inspection we are able to demonstrate our high aspirations with regard to people and the environment. We do not just want to offer our guests first class service but also to do justice to our environmental responsibility.
The certification allows the systematic construction of environmental protection services which can be constantly improved. The management system requires clear analysis and the planning of measures. With the implementation of measures, the management system is subject to regular checks to see whether the environmental targets have also been achieved and they are constantly developed further through the optimisation of environmental protection.
