Porto Montenegro has a strong team of highly prominent international investors behind it and is one of the fastest selling residential developments in Europe.
About the hotel
Inspired by Renaissance Venetian style mixed with local architectural references, Regent Porto Montenegro is a five-story, terracotta roof building with two wings flanking a central double-height atrium. The hotel will have expansive views of the sea surrounded by towering mountains and a spectacular water garden featuring a submergible stone catwalk connected to a ‘private island’ for special occasions. The hotel will play an integral role in Porto Montenegro while helping transform this historical Austro-Hungarian naval base into the Mediterranean’s premier marina village and yacht homeport.
Design
London-based ReardonSmith Architects, the recent recipients of four European Hotel Design Awards, are designing the hotel exterior in a Renaissance Venetian style, complete with a terracotta roof, inspired by Venetian aesthetics and drawing on the countless Italianate palazzi around the Bay.
The hotel interiors designed by Pisano Atelier, along with the ground floor water garden, will offer the ultimate tranquil experience.
Location
Porto Montenegro is located on a former Austro-Hungarian naval base within the coastal town of Tivat in the sheltered Bay of Kotor - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has become an illustrious destination for tourists, yacht owners and celebrities.
The world-class marina features 184 boat berths, a lively village centre with informal cafes, waterfront restaurants and upscale retail stores offering both local and international designer brands. Village amenities include a day spa, hair salon, yacht club and nautical museum. Development is already underway to double the marina’s capacity from 184 to 370 berths and to simultaneously re-develop a superyacht maintenance and refit facility in conjunction with ASY Bijela just 5km away in the Bay of Kotor. An on-site premium casino is also in the planning phase.
Accommodation
Regent Porto Montenegro offers a choice of 35 rooms and 45 suites, providing sophisticated, contemporary living spaces notable for their multifunctional design. Each of the luxurious suites and penthouse apartments, the latter with private plunge pools and rooftop terraces, benefit from the bespoke hotel services and can be included in the rental pool, whether in their entirety or in parts by closing off self-contained living areas within the unit, allowing for maximum flexibility.
Restaurants & Bars
A ground-floor café and brassiere, fine dining restaurant, cigar lounge and library bar will provide a range of dining and entertaining options, created by interior designers Pisano Atelier.
Leisure & Spa Facilities
Two swimming pools are planned, one indoor and one outdoor on the rooftop, as well as a signature Regent SPA and fitness centre.
Ballroom & Meeting Facilities:
A conference room is planned along with a state-of-the-art Business Centre.
