Tourism is blissfully undeveloped in this region of the Caribbean and while there are a small number of official attractions, including the world’s only conch farm, the more adventurous will choose to explore for themselves the more remote areas of the island such as Northwest Point or the Pirates Cave at West Harbour Bluff. The Turks and Caicos is one of the few places in the world where you can ride a horse both on the beach and in the ocean and regardless of your skill, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Day trips to the seven other main islands are another must; particularly to Grand Turk.
